CEQA IS-ND and GHG Emission Threshold
The City of Sunnyvale is soliciting comments on the Draft Initial Study-Negative Declaration (IS-ND) for the Sunnyvale Climate Action Playbook Update/Game Plan 2028 and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Thresholds. The Draft IS-ND addresses the potential physical environmental effects of implementation of the Climate Action Playbook Update/Game Plan 2028 and CEQA GHG Emissions Thresholds in accordance with CEQA. The City of Sunnyvale is the Lead Agency for the proposed plan, which applies to all areas and plans/projects within the City of Sunnyvale limits.
Members of the public and public agencies are invited to provide comments in writing regarding the Draft IS-ND starting April 9, 2024 and ending May 8, 2024. Please email your comments to Madeline Khair, Environmental Programs Manager, at MKhair@sunnyvale.ca.gov. Comments may also be mailed to Madeline Khair at 456 W. Olive Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086. Comments on the Draft IS-ND must be received on or before May 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
